I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jody Johnson, Catering Manager of Black Tie Catering and Events, and had a food tasting with Chef Menendez. I was so blown away by their food I was inspired to blog about it. We started off with an organic strawberry cayenne sip which included acai reduction and vanilla bean crème. It was a delectable combination of sweet and savory with a finish of spice. The candied apple tuna was as beautiful to look at, as it was tasty. They have a quantity of small bites for pass around appetizers and of course, go through main courses and sides, and the pièce de résistance for me is always the dessert. My favorite was the sassy crepe suzette jelly roll which can be made to order in any color. This company truly loves what they do for a living and it shows in their product. They also have bar catering, event staffing and out of this world box lunches.
